Fossil Fuel Supplies Will Be Exhausted in Our Children’s Lifetimes
With no practical solutions, this will lead to global disasters. But you can take action to promote patented solutions.
Battle against climate change
Logical approaches to addressing climate change in the HVAC industry can provide both indoor and outdoor environmental improvement as well as financial benefits. Sample energy reductions calculated by the building owners present paybacks about one year while they reported superior indoor conditions for their building occupants.
God’s Earth, Our Responsibility: The Faithful Path to Clean Energy
Long before climate change became a headline, Scripture called us to care for creation. In today’s world, choosing clean energy isn’t just smart—it’s sacred. As people of faith, we have the opportunity to align our values with our actions and leave behind a legacy of life, not loss.
When Physics Gets Puzzling
The Energy Enigma That’s Got Scientists Scratching Their Heads
What happens when a simple invention challenges one of physics’ most famous equations? Spoiler alert: Einstein might need to make room at the table.
The Fossil Fuel Solution That is Being Avoided
A climate change invention that has been created proven to work, and is Backed by applied science is currently being ignored and dismissed without sufficient reasoning.

Our Business
Analysts of Pneumatic Systems Limited (APS) is a pneumatic controls company specializing in retrofitting Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) buildings for energy efficiency. Using logic systems designed by President and owner, David Strain, APS has saved millions of dollars in heating and cooling costs in over 45 years in business. These cost savings also translate into a significant reduction in pollution, benefiting our environment. In the spirit of environmental stewardship APS makes their innovative ideas available to anyone who may be looking to improve their systems performance. Please see our R&D section for more information on these designs and to download case studies.
Our Mission
Savings
Our specialty is energy conservation for Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Our customers have realized over $100 million in energy savings by retrofitting their systems to be more energy efficient. More importantly, these savings are passed on to the environment.
I have know Dave Strain for 27 years and his dedication to improve the Environment through his Pneumatic Control Strategies and Hydraulic Experiments have been a great asset to the Durham District School Board. Without them we would have not been able to achieve the millions of dollars in savings over all of those years.

Manager of Energy and Mechanical Design (1996-2004) at Durham District School Board
Research & Development
APS is known for their innovative approach to common problems. Over the years we have heard many concerns that comfort will be sacrificed if energy savings are to be gained. Others worry that set-back are undermined by additional energy required to bring systems up to full capacity. Many people don’t know that buildings are ventilated through the HVAC system, as required by law, and feel the need to supplement ventilation. This can be a very costly mistake.
To help people gain a better understanding of how heating and cooling systems work, APS considers common situations, concerns and misconceptions and prepares case studies to help address these areas. APS also works on innovative new solutions to the problem of climate change.
Training
With over 30 years in business, APS shares their knowledge with others. Operating on the philosophy that we are all responsible for the health of our environment, APS offers their knowledge and expertise to others in the following capacities.
Case Studies
All of the case studies developed by APS are made public domain for the sake of the health of our common environment. These studies provide others with an overview of solutions to common issues with control systems that result in reduced energy consumption and associated emissions.
