Fighting climate worry

Let’s be honest – if you’re in eighth grade right now, you’ve probably heard some pretty scary stuff about what the world might look like when you’re older. Two big worries keep coming up – climate change and running out of fossil fuels.

Without action, this will lead to disaster. You can help promote patented solutions

A 2021 survey by the BBC found that most young people are deeply concerned about climate change (survey link). However, they lack the knowledge and experience to address the crisis. We do.

The president of APS has been working on environmental solutions for over 53 years. Despite multiple attempts, climate change mitigation efforts have been ignored by governments, universities, corporations, and activist organizations.

The urgent threat

Parents and grandparents cannot rely on organizations offering empty promises. Our children face serious risks:

  • Extreme weather from climate change
  • Pollution from fossil fuel combustion
  • Energy shortages when fossil fuels are depleted (Stanford University prediction)

APS has developed an internationally patented hydraulic circuit that could significantly reduce fossil fuel use. APS also developed multiple HVAC logic advancements achieving the same. However, authorities dismiss these innovations without scientific arguments addressing the patents.

Parents and grandparents must demand that authorities publicly justify their opposition to these solutions with real scientific logic.

A call to courage

Brian Kelley, former Sustainability Manager of Durham Region, resigned due to inaction on sustainability. He asked:

“Do you want to explain to your children or grandchildren why you lacked the courage to protect their futures?”

Peer reviewed confirmation

Dr. Donald Gorber, Ph.D., P.Eng., an energy specialist and former president of SENES Consulting, assessed APS’s technology and confirmed:

“I believe that Mr. Strain’s invention will advance the scientific community’s understanding of thermodynamics relating to pressurized fluids and energy to a new level.  If fully developed the invention has the potential to reduce energy and as a result a reduction in the use of fossil fuels, thus assisting in the battle against climate change.”

A survival challenge

Burning all available fossil fuels will create an unhealthy atmosphere. The temporary improvement in air quality during the COVID shutdown showed how severe pollution normally is.

A 2019 Stanford study estimates the end of fossil fuel reserves:

  • Oil: 2052
  • Gas: 2060
  • Coal: 2090

BP estimates only 53 years of oil reserves remain at current consumption rates.

Regardless of exact timing, depletion is imminent. High-efficiency energy and clean alternatives are the only path forward.

The real challenge

Governments, universities, environmental groups, and corporations claim they seek solutions but reject proven, patented alternatives. The public believes these organizations are taking action when, in reality, they are obstructing progress.

APS is not asking for money—only public support in demanding accountability from those blocking climate solutions.

Scientific considerations

Authorities reject APS’s patented inventions without scientific counterarguments. Instead, they cite the Laws of Thermodynamics as an unquestioned truth, without evaluating the specific design.

No scientist has empirically challenged the invention’s design.

Government rejections of science

1. Federal Hydraulic Energy Laboratory

At the request of MP Dan McTeague, Canada’s Hydraulic Energy Program laboratory evaluated APS’s technology. Unable to disprove the claims, they sought outside experts. A lead researcher admitted:

“Experts in structural mechanics could not offer any solutions to disprove your report challenging energy conservation laws.”

Management suggested APS approach the National Research Council (NRC) instead.

2. Ontario Climate Change Policy Branch

APS offered its clean energy patents and HVAC advancements for free to Ontario’s Climate Change Policy Branch. Their response:

“We do not assess or support technological proposals or inventions but recognize climate change as a serious issue.”

If the government won’t review viable solutions, how can they claim to be addressing climate change?

How you can help

1. Demand Government Accountability

Email or call officials and demand public evaluation of APS’s freely shared patents:

  • Minister Todd McCarthy, Ontario (Email)
  • Premier Doug Ford (Email)
  • Contact your local MPP and MP, as well as ministers responsible for energy and environment.
2. Call Out Climate Organizations

Many activist groups refuse to review real solutions. A typical response:

“We lack resources or capacity to assist, but we encourage your efforts.”

Email these organizations and demand transparency on how they evaluate new solutions. Ask: What are you getting in return for your donations?

3. Spread Awareness
  • Share APS’s Training Manual with journalists, scientists, and media outlets.
  • Copy environmental writers and science magazines when contacting the government.

The time to act is now

Properly applied HVAC logic can reduce energy costs and fight climate change. A patented alternative to fossil fuels exists, but public support is needed to force action.

Your voice can push authorities to assess these freely available solutions.

Will you act to protect your children’s future?

Koko gets it! Do you?
