HVAC mitigation measures implemented for both diseases may, in some cases, increase the risk of infection within occupied buildings. Based on the literature and data searches we have conducted, we have found insufficient scientific evidence to support certain mandated measures. This video examines the available evidence, discusses the potential unintended consequences of these strategies, and explores alternative approaches for improving indoor air quality and occupant health.
